Ideal Ketchum day: Ideal day would take place during slack, maybe September. September is good. There are less people in town during the slack season. We like that. The locals are enjoying their town again and archery season opens. The elk start talking in the fall. This is always a good time to put on your camo, hike into the Idaho backcountry and enjoy the solitude. Then head home with no elk...larping.
Afterwards, I’d jump on the mountain bike with a few friends and ride right out the back door. Linking up all of the Ketchum single track in the fall is one of my favorite things.
After a great ride I’d head home to hang out with my wife and two daughters, BBQ in the backyard and enjoy the evening. Maybe a hot lap to the skate park with the kids. Nothing too special or epic, just an average day in paradise.
