The Boise Film Foundation hosts writer and director Gregory Bayne, producer Christian Lybrook and members of the cast and crew for a reception and fundraiser for their new noir comedy, “6 Dynamic Laws for Success (in Life, Love & Money).” The event is free and open to the public.
Filmed in Idaho with an Idaho-based cast and crew, “6 Dynamic Laws for Success” is a tale of murder, intrigue, betrayal and self-improvement. Hear from the filmmakers, see exclusive clips and enjoy complimentary food and beverage.
Shot in stunning Black & White, and featuring a great cast of up-and- comers, the film celebrates classic cinema while offering a fresh take on comic noir.
“For me, this picture draws inspiration from the golden age of film noir, screwball comedies and mid-twentieth century self-improvement books to weave a farcical tale,” said writer/director Bayne. “Also, it’s quite funny.”
“The film has been edited, and is in the final stages of post-production,” said producer Lybrook. “Once completed later this year, we'll be seeking out presentation at film festivals, distribution via traditional outlets and taking the film on the road for a theatrical tour. We’ll definitely be back to Sun Valley to show it once it’s finalized.”
