Spring has sprung and so has the warmer weather and skiing under blue skies. The last day of the season at Sun Valley Resort will be Sunday, April 16, with a bonus weekend – the Baldy Bash - Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23, 2017. The Baldy Bash will be a weekend of celebrating and thanking the locals, guests, and mountain community for another successful season.
Live music, food and drink specials, dancing, vintage Warren Miller movies, cosmic bowling, discounted lift tickets and deals on lodging will all be happening. Costumes may be required!
Not a season passholder? No problem! Lift tickets will be going for $59/day for adults, $39/day for kids and $49/day for seniors if purchased online at least three days in advance. Hurry, don't wait! There are limited quantities available! If purchasing at the window, lift tickets will be $89/day for adults, $39/day for kids and $63/day for seniors. Mountain Collective passholders can take advantage of their half-price ticketing this weekend for only $44.50.
Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22
The fun continues in the Sun Valley Village after it winds down on the mountain. The Sun Valley Opera House will be showing Warren Miller’s “Skiing on My Mind” (1976) at 5:00 p.m. and the classic, “Steep and Deep” (1985) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $5.50 for each movie and may be purchased at the door. Beer, wine, and snacks will be available.
The Sun Valley Bowling Alley will have ‘80s Cosmic Bowling from 7:00 – 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. The cost is $60 per hour, per lane and includes shoes. Up to six people per lane.
