Occupation + Achievement: Real Estate Agent. Sold one of the highest priced homes in the history of Sun Valley.
Ideal Ketchum day: Rising at 5:30am, and spending the next hour on: meditation, noting three things I am grateful for, reading and of course a cup of coffee. By 6:45am off to circuit training, hot yoga at The Yoga Center or a hike with my two furry friends, Australian Shepherds named Luce and Tess. In the office by 8:30-9am to meet with my team and start our day of listing and selling real estate. We thrive off set schedules, effective communications with clients and attention to details.
Then Kelly Malone (the Team Buyers’ Specialist) and I would record our video series Voices & Views, released twice a month, dedicated to the people, places, non-profits or businesses that make our community so special.
At lunchtime I would meet up with a friend or past client, then swing by NourishMe for a gluten-free chocolate chip macadamia cookie (or two).
Keeping a balance between work and family is not easy, but at 5:30pm the lights are out at the office. I head home to spend the evening with my husband, who has made a delicious dinner and then off for a walk on the bike path or hike with the dogs. The rest of the evening is spent on my patio, listening to the birds and chimes, reading a book. At the end of the day, I truly know the value of finding that perfect place to call home.
Ketchum in one word: Home.
Advice to newbies in town: You do not have to have three jobs to purchase a home.
